Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver(Non-CDL)
The Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations and providing safe, accurate, and timely deliveries while maintaining product quality and delivering excellent customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate a box truck to complete local deliveries, airport pickup runs, and day-trip deliveries as business needs require.
- Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and manually lift products weighing up to 80–100 pounds.
- Pick, assemble, and prepare customer orders using established procedures, accurately documenting product weights and quantities.
- Break down incoming inventory into designated sizes or lots and store products in assigned warehouse locations.
- Offload incoming shipments and organize inventory in designated storage or cross-dock areas.
- Load customer orders from warehouse storage onto delivery vehicles while ensuring accuracy and proper handling.
- Verify product quantities and conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality and integrity.
- Ensure all perishable products are properly iced and handled to maintain freshness and product integrity.
- Wrap, restack, and secure pallets as needed for safe storage and transportation.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip visual inspections of assigned vehicles and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Deliver customer orders accurately, safely, and on schedule while providing exceptional customer service.
- Climb in and out of delivery vehicles throughout the workday and safely operate equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card (company assistance provided).
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of all warehouse operations and be able to perform various warehouse functions as needed.
- Cover alternate delivery routes and warehouse assignments to support changing business needs.
- Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and operational requirements.
- Successfully complete and maintain compliance with all company safety requirements, including a pre-employment drug screening.
- Perform other warehouse, delivery, and related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, twist, and climb throughout the workday.
- Regularly climb in and out of delivery vehicles.
- Safely operate forklift, pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.
- Work in refrigerated and freezer environments while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card (company assistance provided).
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 100 pounds.
